I know there's some bit in the books about how the actual coffins or whatever in the crypts have big heavy swords on the lids as tradition carried over from thousands of years ago, specifically to prevent the dead bodies from rising up again. That hasn't been mention in the show at all though so I imagine there is going to be some ancient Stark bad times ahead.

there is definitely something going on with the crypts - even in the opening montage. crypts will be important.

Coldhands still out there? I forget if they killed him off in one of the attacks. There's still a possibility for people to come back that resist the Night King's influence, I guess. A good wight skeleton Ned Stark would be pretty wild, but I guess he'd need some twine for his head.

that's something I'm not sure they established...do they 'need' heads?

This show hasn't made me get emotional in quite some time. I guess I'm just jaded at this point fully expecting everyone to die and what not. But damn if that Brienne knighting scene didn't get me.

Super emotional and well acted by Gwendolyn Christie, for real.
I dunno Sheep, in the books they just bring back the arm of the wight that attacked Jon and send it to the kingdoms as proof, and it was still alive and murdery. I can't remember if that was in the show too? I don't think so, they boxed up a full zombie homeboy.
